This man wants to know why it is that scientists were unable to create a human using E.coli bacteria in a lab. This isn’t just any man however, he is the minister of education in Louisiana. Should we really trust a man who doesn’t realize that evolution happened over billions of years with the education of millions of kids?
Personally I believe that both creationism and evolution should be taught in schools. Although some families may want their children to learn only creationism, it is important that every body understands where the human race really started. We did not simply appear out of thin air, there was a long process before we became what we are. My belief lies with evolution, although I do respect that some people have different beliefs, I also think that knowing our origins is important.
